The European Parliament (EP) has condemned the violence in the dismantling of the camp Moroccan Sahrawi Izik Gdaim near Laayoune, and demanded an international investigation.
MEPs approved in a vote by show of hands the resolution had set before all political groups.
The censure resolution does not explicitly the performance of the Moroccan authorities, but it "deplores" the loss of lives and mourn the attacks on press freedom, for what is required to Rabat to allow free access to Western Sahara reporters, observers and humanitarian organizations.
