Piero, the famous singer whose real name is Piero De Benedictis was born in Italy in April 1944 and began performing Italian tunes in Argentina, this was in the mid- 60. In 1969, after winning a English festival in achieving some popularity, but in 1976 went into exile in Panama because of political problems if not stopped in his tracks. Later he moved to Spain and Italy.
reappears in 1981 in a show called the great return of Piero and recorded a double album titled "Heat Human. " In 1985 he toured Latin America and participates in a project to help poor young people led by UNICEF, where he defended the rights of children and youth.
In 2001 appears with a new, unpublished work issues.
Piero has always been working and to his credit a long list of topics of their own inspiration.
